We are very proud of the results we are achieving with the Polar Optimized SailsSoftware. This software allows the sail designer to treat the sail as a subsystem of the boat. Our sail designers look at the hull performance, the dagger boards and foils' drag/lift coefficients, and other velocity prediction information to optimize the sail to the boat. This has lead to the development of the Black Cat Spinnaker.

We are not the only ones seeing increased performance out on the race course; sailors, both performance cruisers and racers, and other sail makers are seeing this performance too.

We are now designing sails for 11 lofts nationwide using this technology. We have also been asked by a major loft to sell them this technology... I think not...but we thank them for the ego boost.
