Our Performance Plus are the top of the line cruising/racing sails. These sails are constructed out of the highest quality cruising laminates offered today in a radial panel layout to give the customer the best performance and longevity. Construction of these sails are second to none. Attentions to the details, for sailors that are looking for longevity, are incorporated into these designs and construction. These sails will last longer. The designers and sailmakers at Sabre work very closely with you to tailor-make your new sails to suit you and your boat's requirements.

PERFORMANCE PLUS SAILCLOTHS

Our Performance Plus Sails are offered in 2 materials (Cruising laminate- Pentex™, and Cruising laminate -polyester). Because of the double taffeta sides, the laminate is protected from chaffing and damage. However the taffeta coefficient of drag is much greater on cruising laminates than on laminates without taffeta thus you will not have the same performance that you would with non taffeta sailcloth . For a spinnaker, we offer a cruising tri radial asymmetrical spinnaker called the tri cruiser or you can select either the club nylon or the championship spinnaker.

PERFORMANCE PLUS Cruising laminate- Pentex™

This Cruising laminate is selected for its longevity. We have made sails using this sailcloth that has been around the world twice on the same 72-foot boat. If you are looking for the maximum longevity while maintaining performance, this is the cloth for you.

PERFORMANCE PLUS Cruising laminate -polyester

This Cruising laminate has less longevity and cost less than the Pentex™ cruising laminate. However for most cruisers that are doing lake or coastal sailing, it provides a suitable substitution for Pentex™ cruising laminate.
