Contender Sailcloth (www.contendersailcloth.com) offers an extensive line of high quality cruising sailcloths, which meets our stringent requirements. These polyesters are the top of the line in the wovens. They are more durable than any other polyesters made today. These styles are the end result of careful yarn selection, high beat-up woven constructions, and advanced finishing. High tenacity polyester fibers are selected for their strength, stretch resistance, and recovery. These yarns are woven on state-of-the-are heavy duty, shuttle-less looms to assure consistent and defect-free fabrics in the tightest weaves possible.

Sports Sails DP polyesters

Dimension/Polyant also offers a line of high quality cruising sailcloth. All of their cloths are woven and finished in their production facility. These polyesters are the mid range of the wovens both in price and durability.

Sports Sails Challenge polyesters

These polyesters are the low end of the woven polyesters being manufactured today. They are the also the most inexpensive polyesters and the least durable.
